Amogh Dusad is a seasoned media professional with over 20+ years of experience in different aspect of media and entertainment industry. As the Director and Head of Content, he drives the content strategy, commissioning, and acquisition for Amazon MX Player, transforming it into one of India's leading free video streaming services with over 1.4 billion downloads on PlayStore and 250 MM+ unique users.

 

Previously, he served as the Business Operations Head for Sony LIV, overseeing Programming, Partnerships, Analytics, Gaming, Second Screen, and Big Data Initiatives.  He is credited with pioneering initiatives like KBC Play along and bringing augmented reality experience to customers of The Kapil Sharma Show. Prior to his role at Sony LIV, he served as content head for Sony PIX and AXN, Head of Strategy for Sony entertainment channel and Director of Strategic Planning and Research at NDTV, where he developed expertise in Business Development and Content Planning. As the Head of Content, he is deeply committed to building a customer backward content pipeline.
