Don Kang is the Vice President of Content (Korea) at Netflix and leads the streaming service’s Content team in the Seoul office, focusing on discovering the best made-in-Korea stories for fans worldwide. Don joined Netflix in 2018 as the company began building its team of content executives in Korea to collaborate with local storytellers. He has spearheaded milestone strategic partnerships with key local creators—including TV broadcasters, film investment and production companies, studios, and creators. Before joining Netflix, he served as Head of International Sales at CJ E&M’s TV division. In 2017, he was awarded the Prime Minister’s Award at the Korea Content Awards for his contributions to cultural exchange and the international expansion of Korean content during his tenure at CJ E&M.
