Katsuaki Setoguchi serves as Executive Officer, Global Business, at TBS Holdings Inc. since January 2025 and as Board Director at The Seven, Inc. since February 2025. Joining TBS in 1996 after graduating from Tokyo University’s Faculty of Economics, he has produced hit dramas like Good Luck, Boys Over Flowers, and 99.9 Criminal Lawyer, with Around 40 earning Buzzword of the Year in 2008. Setoguchi also contributed to launching Naoki Hanzawa and VIVANT while in the Programming Department. Rising through roles including Programming Division President in 2020 and TBS Television Board Director in 2024, he now drives TBS’s global strategy, focusing on international content expansion.
