With over two decades of outstanding experience as a business, technology, and marketing leader, Gunjan is well positioned to accelerate the growth of one of our most crucial markets in APAC and globally. She joins YouTube from ZALORA, where as Group CEO for nearly six years based in Singapore, she was pivotal in driving growth and profitability. Her leadership fostered the introduction of new shopping categories, cutting-edge innovations, and deeply personalized user experiences that led to impressive app engagement and a successful loyalty program.

Given Shopping's strategic importance for YouTube in India, Gunjan's deep understanding of the local e-commerce landscape is a significant asset. She previously held leadership roles as CMO and Business Head at Myntra and Jabong. Her media experience is equally impressive, having overseen the launch of the digital platform Hotstar and new sports leagues in soccer and kabaddi during her time as EVP at Star India.

Prior to that, Gunjan was a Partner at McKinsey in the Consumer and Marketing practice and worked across multiple consumer sectors and geographies. She has received several external recognitions like Fortune 40 under 40 and serves on the board of CBRE Group, a Fortune 500 company.
