Janice Lee oversees the company’s media and entertainment businesses including Viu, its leading video streaming service; Viu TV, a HK  based free TV service as well as Makerville, its content creation and talent management company. She also oversees the Media Group’s digital streaming music service MOOV. Janice spearheaded the launch and international expansion of Viu, which is now Asia’s leading video streaming service with operations in markets across Southeast Asia, the  Middle East & South Africa. In addition, the group invests in original content under the brand Viu Original in Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines as well as Hong Kong, the home market for Viu TV.

Janice was named in the Variety500 last year (2024), an honor she has held since 2021. She was also named to Forbes Asia’s Power Business Women list in 2021. She joined the PCCW Group in 2003. Prior to founding Viu as a pan-regional streaming service in 2015, she also led the successful launch of Now TV. Janice has over 25 years of experience in media, digital entertainment, and consumer businesses, including with STAR TV and Warner Brothers and Citibank N.A.
