Derek Chang is an accomplished global media, sports and entertainment executive. Chang is the Executive Chairman of EverPass Media, sits on the Boards of Liberty Media (F1, SiriusXM, LiveNation), and Playfly Sports, and is Vice Chairman of Powerhouse Capital. He has held senior leadership roles across the industry including at NBA China (CEO), Scripps Networks International (HGTV, Food Network), DIRECTV (Content Strategy and Development), Charter Communications, YES Network, Friend MTS and TCI Communications. Chang has been named to Cablefax Magazine’s “Top 100 Executives in Cable” and SBJ’s “50 Most Influential People in Sports Business.”

EverPass Media, backed by RedBird Capital Partners and 32 Equity, the strategic investment arm of the National Football League, is a media platform that distributes live sports and entertainment content to bars, restaurants, hotels and other commercial venues. Founded in 2023, EverPass launched initially as the exclusive distributor of NFL Sunday Ticket to commercial establishments in the United States. EverPass partners with rightsholders, distribution partners and business owners to create a one-stop-shop for commercial distribution of premium live events.
