Kevin Chang serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Asia at the UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization and undisputed global icon of combat sports. He first joined the company in 2011 and is responsible for the company’s overall business and operations in the region including media rights and content distribution, events, athlete development, PR and social media outreach, corporate partnerships, and investments. Chang was the driving force in establishing the UFC Performance Institute Shanghai – the world’s largest MMA and elite athlete training facility, as well as the UFC Academyand “Road to UFC” developmental pathways. He and his team have also hosted sell-out events across Asia including Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, Cadillac Arena in Beijing, Cotai Arena in Macau, Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, KPSO Dome in Seoul, Singapore Indoor Stadium, and several other world class venues.
Prior to joining UFC, Chang began his career in sports at the National Football League in New York, where he served as Senior Director of International Media. A native of Honolulu, he holds a BA from Pomona College and a China-focused MBA from the University of Hawaii, East-West Center for Asian Studies.
