David Simonsen is the Director of Prime Video in Southeast Asia. In this role, he oversees the Prime Video Business in the region including the content, marketing and business development teams for Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. David joined Amazon in September 2022. Previously he spent 14 years at HBO Asia as Senior Vice President of Business Development, including oversight of the launch of HBO GO as a direct to consumer service across 8 territories in the region. David also has career stints at ESPN Star Sports (2001-2007) and TVNZ (1996-2001).
