Chief Executive Officer, Fetch TV

Dominic Arena is Chief Executive Officer of Fetch TV.  Fetch TV is an Australian technology company delivering elevated and affordable digital entertainment and lifestyle experiences via its platform to almost one million households.  Fetch is a JV of Telstra and Astro Overseas Holdings – an investment of Usaha Tegas and Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund, Khazanah. Dominic has served on multi-national and listed companies in Executive, Advisory and Non-Executive capacities over a 30-year career spanning ANZ & Asia Pacific.  He is recognised for his experience in corporate & portfolio strategy, M&A, commercial management and business development with telecom, media & satellite operators, Governments & Regulators, and with API-tech, ad-tech and fintech start-ups/scale-ups.  

Dominic worked in Telstra Group as Executive Director Strategy, Planning & Commercial from May 2020 to June 2024 leading product strategy, commercial, operations and investments, as well as partnerships and organic & inorganic growth initiatives.  He has been instrumental in several strategic portfolio initiatives including the acquisition of Digicel Pacific, acquisition of Fetch TV, formation of the Quantium-Telstra JV and a world-first partnership to deliver bespoke Starlink broadband with home phone service in Regional Australia.  He served as a Non-Executive Director of Fetch TV from 2022 to 2024. Prior to Telstra, Dominic was Group Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer of Axiata Group Bhd ,SE Asia’s second largest publicly listed mobile & fixed telecom, media, ICT, Fintech, Adtech and Infrastructure group operating across 10 countries. At Axiata, he led Group Corporate Strategy, Brand & Marketing, Products & Partnerships and oversaw several digital investments, startups/scale-ups as a member of the Board Audit & Risk Committee.  He also served as a Non-Executive Director of several other listed and unlisted subsidiaries including Dialog Axiata Plc (Sri Lanka), NCell (Nepal), Robi (Bangladesh) and AdKnowledge Asia Pacific (Singapore).
