Sam has worked in the Australian TV industry for 20+ years, with experience spanning strategy, investment, commercial, production and digital. Sam joined Fetch in 2016 and leads the content aggregation strategy to deliver on the core Fetch proposition of “All your entertainment, easy”. Sam heads up all content commercial negotiations (FTA & Subscription Linear Channels, BVOD, SVOD, and AVOD), along with data and advertising sales.
Prior to Fetch, Sam spent seven years at Foxtel working across the Content, Commercial, Product and Digital divisions, delivering content investment strategy for $1.5bn in annual content spend, negotiating strategic studio deals (HBO, NBCU, etc), channel carriage and high value premium drama acquisitions. She also worked on the development and launch of multiple digital products including Presto, Foxtel on Xbox, and Foxtel Go.
Before Foxtel, Sam led the digital division for Endemol Australia which included Big Brother’s 24×7 live broadcast over IP, Deal Or No Deal merchandise, and revenue funded programming such as Big Brother Up Late and The Up Late Game Show.
In London, Sam worked on the first eleven seasons of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, devising the premium rate entry system that was fundamental to the commission and funding of the franchise, whilst also moonlighting as a clairvoyant & psychic, before moving to Australia to work on the early seasons of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in Sydney.
