Sungmin Kim is the CEO of HYBE Binary. Before joining HYBE, he served as the CEO of a crypto proprietary trading firm at NXC, the parent company of Nexon. Previously, he worked as a director at Nexon’s AI division. Prior to that, he spent over ten years as a server developer at many IT companies such as Microsoft and Riot Games. He is very interested in technologies for better user experience.

HYBE Binary Korea, a subsidiary of South Korean Entertainment leader HYBE, focuses on tech R&D including Web3 and blockchain and has launched a new fan platform for creators called THEUS. The platform is a joint venture between Binary Korea and Korean digital entertainment company Sandbox Network.
